Staff were kind
Expensive, not clean, old, nasty smell, bath is dirty, everything was awful
*Most economical package received in Salalah on given dates. *Good breakfast *Location was good, Almost middle of various sites tobe visited. * One indian receptionist (Forgot his name) was really helpful who guided entire tour of salalah. He was real nice and kind person.
*Room had strange smell in it. *Ac was noisy, difficult to sleep. *Lift door does not open so many time at ground floor. Most of the time you need to go to another floor and come back to open the door.
The location is horrible. You should not support this hotel as advertised. (There is no garden and No swimming pool). It is surrounded by concrete and next to a very loud highway which kept me awake till 3am. It is stuck out on the outskirts of town in a particularly desloate spot. I am sure most tourists will be very disappointed by the location. The rooms are large but hideously decorated - dark green plus deep mustard yellow, rust red curtains was the combination in my room. The breakfast was minimal: teabag/instant coffee with a can of evaporated milk nearby, white sliced bread for toast only. Eggs and juice had to be requested separately and paid for extra. My colleague ate his and then rushed out to vomit!
The fridge in the room worked, except that it wobbled. Tha'ts just about the only positive thing about the hotel.
The hotel was an absolute disaster. The business centre, was actually a run-down computer in the lobby, infested with every single kind of worms and malware known to Man - documented and undocumented. The smell in the room was putrefactive. The plumbing in the toilet leaked - we literally swam into the toilet as opposed to what regular people do, which is to walk in there. The staff were not too helpful, and that's definitely an understatement. Housekeeping did a very poor job, IF they actually did anything. All in all, the exorbitant rate of this hotel is completely and utterly unjustifiable. Oh, and it is NOT a 3-star hotel as they claim on the website - it is rated by the Omani Ministry of Tourism as a 2-star hotel.
The best thing about this hotel that during the peak time it offered double rooms for a relatively low cost (compared to other very expensive hotels of the city). The staff is friendly and trying to make up to the bad impression you get the moment you see any of the rooms. Pictures on Booked.net show some other rooms or when they were new and well decorated for the pictures. Breakfast is average ok for this type of hotel, but only if you come early. Otherwise everything is eaten and nobody is replenishing.
Generally, we did not like this hotel at all and if given a choice will never stay there again. Because of humid climate there is an awful smell in the rooms and one of the rooms even had black funghus on the wall which is very dangerous for health. Bathrooms are scaringly shabby, furniture is all stained and they put plastic chairs and tables into rooms!!! Linen is yellowish, we had to ask for an extra set to wrap up the bed completely before we could sleep on it.
Nothing as such. One good thing they allowed us to cancel our booking for hte rest of the days and allowed us to move out without any charge
THey wer not prepared. Room was cleaned prior to our arrival. No one to opick luggage. washrooms drains leaking and falling fittings. Cracked bath tray
In general it is OK. Management is helpful when complain. location is fine.
It is not 3 stars it is only 2 stars. It is so under expectations. Old hotel
To be honest i did not like anything. i was forced to take a room as i did not get any available accommodation there. the service is poor the staff is not friendly and looking mesrubale. i had to wait for 30 min just to do check in and get my key. the bed sheet/balnket is very old and i got alergy the day after from it. unbelivable!
Close enough distance to/from city. Ample car park.
The rate is just too high after experience staying at the hotel. With this rate, I cannot recommend this hotel to others. Lots of noice from running of motor/pump throughout the nights.
The hotel reception staff responsivness to any questions The location was 10 mins away from the airport
The restaurant did have a menu but when we order they tell us sorry not available The cleanliness of the room - fungus on the curtain and bed head board General maintainance of the hotel must be improved Price should be reduced taking the quality of the rooms into consideration
very poor standard for the money you pay. Does not deserve a star status.
nothing and I never want stay there again. Summer is raining season so the room was so damp, dirty and people didn't want to working. ( They said in Ramadan people don't work and most of them sleep . tourists don't come this month.)
I do not like this Hotel. I stay there because all Hotels were booked. This hotel is dirty there were bugs in the room in the toilet and the food made me sick. I will never stay here I will rather stay at the Airport.
The place is dirty.
The only thing I liked is the location but later I found out there are other hotels around
The room was not cleaned properly. Toilets were not cleaned properly There were bedbugs It looks like they changed an apartment complex into a Hotel.. Not professional at all!!!!!
